The importance of voting
Every year in November, Kangwon National University elects a new student council to lead the next year. In student body, a college student council, and departments student council, we hope that the presidential and vice presidential candidates who will lead the next year's student council win the election. But the students seem to be not interested in the election. More than 50% of current students (voters) must vote to avoid the Emergency Task Force. The Emergency Task Force means that the current Student Council will lead the Student Council next year again.
The above table is the announcement of the candidate of the Student Council of Kangwon National University. There is a lot of indifference to voting. Turnout is only 50%~60%. In school corridors, Student council candidates must appeal to people who pass by and ask for elections, and people are reluctant to vote. This is very wrong!
Voting is an important right that must be exercised. But voting is a right and not an obligation. We cannot blame them for not voting. However, by exercising his or her precious vote rights, you can be more interested in the next student council of your choice. Furthermore, the student council must not appeal to vote, but if they let students know in how to lead the school next year, they can vote voluntarily in response. If the perception of the vote is corrected, and you put more of your vote on it, you will be interested in a college more. Furthermore, young people in our country will become interested in society and become a society that develops even more.
