A summer festival that you must go to this summer
The summer vacation is coming for students of Kangwon National University, who have worked hard for a semester tired of exams and assignments, to relax and recharge. It is recommended to relieve stress by participating in an exotic festival during the summer vacation.
The advantages of participating in the festival

Let's enjoy mud with our whole body. Boryeong Mud Festival
The Boryeong Mud Festival is an experiential summer festival held every summer at Daecheon Beach and has been going on since 1998. During the day, you can experience skin care and healthy mud, such as catching clams and tail catching in mud, and enjoy colorful performances and fireworks at night, and enjoy the atmosphere of the festival with your family and friends. It is one of the representative festivals of Korea as it is also visited by many foreigners. This year’s festival will be held from July 25 to August 10 for a long period of time, so I recommend you to enjoy it for a day!

A glass of cold beer! Daegu Chimaek Festival
The Daegu Chimaek Festival started in 2013 with the aim of promoting domestic chicken and beer culture to the world and developing the chicken industry. Famous chicken franchises can participate and enjoy a variety of chicken dishes, performances by famous singers, DJs, and more. Also, there is the Chimaek 99 Cheers Time event, where everyone cheers at 9:09 p.m. Also, the festival runs from July 2-6.

Water play in summer! Summer Swag and Waterbomb
Among the festivals, Waterbomb and Summer Swag are the most representative festivals related to water. The Soak Show is a concert by Psy, a representative K-pop singer, featuring two teams of famous celebrities except for Psy as guests and spraying a lot of water throughout the performance. Although this year's schedule has not been revealed yet, for last year's 2024, two places in Wonju and Sokcho were held on June 29 and Aug. 3, respectively, in Gangwon Province. And a popular festival together is Waterbomb. Waterbomb is the largest music and water-themed festival of various genres in Korea since 2015, and it has been held every summer and has been divided into two teams, Green and Yellow, with water fighting as its main content. In addition, Waterbomb is a festival that only people aged 19 or older can participate, so it is essential to bring an ID. This year's Waterbomb will be held for a day in Sokcho on Aug. 23. The announced performers so far include Lee Young-ji, Ash Island, and Changmo.
