Programs

During the festival, Dakgalbi will be offered at a 3,000 KRW discount and Makguksu at a 1,500 KRW discount.  At the festival, ten of Chuncheon’s most renowned Dakgalbi restaurants and six famous Makguksu restaurants will participate, offering visitors the chance to enjoy delicious Dakgalbi and Makguksu at affordable prices. In addition, visitors can enjoy a variety of foods presented by different Chuncheon brands at local F&B booths.

As for experience programs, there will be the Farmers’ Market where agricultural products are sold directly, the “Mak-Dak Toy Shop” where people can enjoy fun stories about the history of Dakgalbi and Makguksu, and a Free Market operated by local youth and creators, along with various other interactive and promotional booths. In addition, the festival features Green Adventure, a family-friendly playground where children can enjoy wooden play equipment and wooden blocks without the use of electricity.

Performance programs include citizen performances presented by Chuncheon residents, performances by international students, and guest singer performances. This year, unlike previous events, the festival has been expanded across multiple venues in Chuncheon, allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of performances in different festival zones.

At the Chuncheon Makguksu & Dakgalbi Festival, visitors can also take part in experiences such as Makguksu noodle-making, global traditional games, and world food showcases.

Promotions

Discount coupons for Makguksu and Dakgalbi can be purchased on the official website until October 26. When presenting the online coupon, Dakgalbi will be discounted by 4,000 KRW and Makguksu by 2,000 KRW. After purchasing online by October 26, present your reservation information at the selected restaurant during payment- the discount will be applied after staff verification. In addition, offline discount coupons will be distributed at the festival venues during the event period. The stores where these coupons can be used are limited, and the list of participating stores can also be found on the official website.
