The Nth-crime is a hot topic that criminals used messenger applications such as Telegram and Discord to circulate illegally filmed sexual exploitation videos among themselves. Most of the victims of sexual exploitation are teenagers, such as middle and high school students. It is a huge cyber sexual exploitation crime with 10,000 preview members and 30,000 paid members.

The mastermind of the crime used a Twitter deviant account to threaten the victim to obtain sexual exploitation video continually. They got a victim's personal information through a hacking link and threatened her with it as an excuse to capture sexual exploitation video.

Those sexual exploitation videos were sold for a fee to Nth- room, 'baksa- room.' They were traded through virtual currency, fake bank accounts, and gift certificates.

The Nth-room incident caused public rage that more than 5 million people petitioned. The prosecution's investigation began with the general debate about the "Fire Trace Group." 

Watchman, the 38-year-old main culprit, was arrested. Kelly, who took over from 'god god' and ran Nth-room, was also arrested. Cho Joo-bin, baksa, was arrested as the main culprit. His personal information was disclosed, and he stood on the photo line. As the investigation was conducted with a large number of people's petitions, the public's participation was also included in the choice of judge. Besides, other leaders have been caught, and several paid members have been arrested.

Experts and other citizens expect that the leaders deserve heavy punishment for criminals in the case. The development of mobile devices easily exposes us to crimes using information. Previously problematic regulations on sex crimes and cybersex crimes were not well regulated. Even if a criminal is caught, it remained a cancerous presence in society because it ended up giving weak punishment. Experts argued that it should be eradicated. The Nth-room crime has become a hot topic, and there have been many copycat crimes. That's why harsh punishment is necessary.

The president said he would root out the case by setting up a TF related to Nth- crime. He also said he would fully support the victims and immediately removes the distributed videos. Support for victims will not be hastily set, but sufficient support will be provided. Legal action against relevant malicious comments will also have to be taken to prevent secondary harm.
